Maisie has been skiing

 Going skiing at Rainbow Ski Field

We pack thermals  and fancy clothes because mum says 

“What if we go out to a restaurant?” 

I roll my eyes and pack some of my best jeans and one of my favourite tops.

“Finally.” I say getting in the car.

While we were driving it started to snow, so dad said the next nice snowy spot we will stop. We were playing in the snow and  

Another family came so we played together. Having snowball fights, I can’t remember their names but they went to Renwick school, I made a snowman with a girl.

When we arrived at the Alpine lodge hotel it was 12.44.

The hotel had one queen and three single beds, that we had to climb up

a ladder to get to the three single beds. 

The next day we went up a lovely drive to rainbow ski field. But there 

was one thing standing in our way. We had to have chains on the 

wheels on our truck. We had to go back and get chains from Apline lodge.

There was amazing icicles on the drive up to the ski field!

We had a lovely day skiing. 

The next day.. 

We had lessons!! 

Our teacher taught us how to parallel ski.

It really helped us, it was less tiring on my legs. We went over jumps,

Dad got a video of us.

I can't wait to go skiing again!
