Its is Bloem's birthday on Monday
My 10th birthday.
In 4 days it will be my 10th birthday.
In the morning, I will open all of my presents. I really really want a skateboard. The skateboard was the first thing on my list.
I am going to have a pinata. I don't know what kind of Pinata it is.
At night we are going to the State Movie Cinema. We might have dinner there too, at the Pizza place. My favourite pizza is the Margherita.
The movie we are going to watch is the DC League of Superpets.

Bloem’s Birthday Present
How I wrapped it. I wrapped it with paper. It was green paper. I found a book which was in my bedroom and it was her book. I decided to give it to her for her birthday, but I would have to give it back to the library.
I made a card for my sister. I decorated it with beads and I used glue to stick them on. I put the card on the present and this is how I stuck it on. I got sellotape and I stuck it on and then on the other side you could open the present and see the book.
Bink has written a story about Bloem's birthday
It is Bloem's birthday in 4 days. She is going to turn ten on her birthday. We are going to Nelson movie theatre and we are going to have popcorn. I want to watch The LEGO Movie in the theatre.
After the movie theatre we will go and have dinner. We will have pizza up the stairs from the movie theatre. I like the meat lover pizza because they have lots of meat on them.
I am going to make a card for Bloem. Lief has made a present for Bloem.
Tildy has been helping with the lambing
We are lambing. I go out and help Mum check the sheep. If a lamb is stuck we help to pull it out. If the lamb is skinny we take it back home and feed it. We have a shed for them and we feed them in the little shed. We have to feed them 5 times a day. We feed them with bottles.
When they are bigger we feed them on a milk bar.

Willow has been to Wellington.
I went to Wellington to see WOW. And WOW! It was amazing.
Before we went to WOW, we went on the aeroplane and I wish the aeroplane took longer. It was only 20 minutes and I love being in the aeroplane.
I pretend I'm a dragon with my wings spread out, because that's what it would be like being a high flying dragon, looking over the world beneath you.
When the aeroplane landed, we got a bus to drive to the motel. Because it wasn't time to check-in, we just dropped off our bags there, and then we were off to Te Papa.
I loved all the pigeons around Te Papa but because the exhibits wouldn't be open at Te Papa yet, for 10 minutes, we just went outside Te Papa to eat our breakfast… chicken burgers.
When Te Papa was finally open, we walked in and the first thing that I saw was a cool ball with water spraying over it, which was moving. I tried to stop it but I only stopped it for 5 seconds and it started moving again.
We went straight into the nature exhibit, and there was a big bird nest, tsunamis, weird-looking fish, a real squid… and all sorts…
Then out of nowhere Auntie Fee snuck up on me, like I was her prey, and she was the Eagle.
We had a look at some other stuff in Te Papa. Then we went outside to look at some other stuff. I can't exactly remember what, then it was time to check-in. So, we checked in.
Then we went out again, to have a look at the Waterfront and the bucket sculptures, and of course I got soaking wet.
We went to the motel again then we went out for dinner. When we got back to the motel, Auntie Fee discovered that there were no coffee plungers! She asked the person who owns the motel if there were any coffee plungers and she said that there was none left.
So Auntie fee went out to the supermarket to find a coffee plunger. She went up to the supermarket and there were 6 boys. They tried to help her find a coffee plunger but when Auntie Fee finally found the coffee plunger, she didn't tell the boys that she had found it. They're probably all still running around the supermarket looking for a coffee plunger.
Anita won some ribbons at Pet Day. Part 1
I won a red ribbon and 2 blue ribbons at pet day. I went to pet day at Collingwood School in Collingwood and I took a lamb and a calf. Hannah took a goat and a lamb. Ash took a lamb. Ash was going to bring a sheep as well but she ran and ran. Mum could not catch her.
We got the animals in a trailer. Dad got a prattley and put it between the calf and the lambs and goat.
When we got there, we got out of the car and got all of the animals out of the trailer. We put strings and leashes on them.
Dad held onto Blaze, the Calf. Mum held onto Jet, the goat and I held onto Sprinkles, my lamb.
Hannah held onto Hungry, her lamb and Ash held onto her lamb Spinning Star.
Ocean has been collecting cockles
Mmmmm, Cockles, ahhhh, yum!
Daryl is 77 years old and he doesn't look like 77. He looks like 50. Daryl cooked us some cockles. Everybody ate them as he told us where the spot was to get them.
The next day we sailed over to Parekura and got a bucket of cockles on the mud flats. As we dug deeper and deeper into the mud we started getting bigger ones.
We soak the cockles in salt water to get all the sand out otherwise they will taste all gritty.
Tonight we will steam the cockles open for an entree.
