Sofie has been to Ettrick

 On Tuesday me and my dad went to

Ettrick. I thought we were going to Cromwell but we weren‘t. My dad went the wrong way but we still got to Ettrick. We had to go down a very steep hill. Soon we got to Ettrick. 

The apples smelt like chocolate cupcakes because  it was in a cooling place. It was one year old. I helped my dad.

At lunch, I saw a quail.

“Look dad,” but my dad was busy eating his lunch .

Sofie has written a story about two baby rabbits.

 A few weeks ago, I saw two baby rabbits. One had grey and whitish ears like its dad. The other one had reddish and pinkish eyes. Its ears had tiny fur and a little bit of pink, just like its mother. 

I think the baby rabbit with pinkish and reddish eyes is cute!!!

Sofie has made cardboard dumplings

 I have eight thin cardboard dumplings.  First I could name my dumplings. Then I drew more. I didn't know what to call them all. 

I like the little Dumplings because they look cute. That doesn't mean I don't like my big dumplings. I do. I just think that my little Dumplings are a little bit cuter. I put gem stickers on them to make them cute.

Sofie's story

 Yesterday afternoon me and my dad went to Ivon Wilson Park. We went past the swamp to the viewing platform. I could see the ducks swimming in the water. 

On the way back there was a tree that had flowers but it didn't look like a Flower. It looked like tiny pom poms that were yellow and were a bit soft. 

We walked along the lake. We saw a dead rat. It probably ate rat poison from the bird sanctuary. 

Sofie has been very creative

 

I made some tissue art. I call it tissue art because the tissue makes the water colourful.

There are two ways of doing it. You can use paint. Put the paint in water, then mix it.

The other way is to colour the tissue any colour you want using felts.

You can also freeze it.

Last week I made a unicorn out of cardboard. I also made it a collar. She also has a home. She has a bed and curtains and she has one star and three    

Clouds and one moon  on her ceiling. She has a rainbow on the floor and a picture on the wall.

Sofie went to the library and it is her dad's birthday

 Yesterday I went to the library and I got a koala rubber and a star rubber. The star rubber needs to be pushed so it can come apart. In the library I was doing my school work. 

Today is my dads birthday and I will make him a birthday card.

 It will be a surprise card and I will put  it under his pillow.
