If I didn’t have to do school work I would... by Lucy

 If I didn’t have to do school work I would stay in bed till 9:00am. When I woke up, I would read for an hour. 

I wouldn't have breakfast because I wouldn't be bothered by cooking and eating it. Instead, I would have a big lunch. 

I would have a Clydesdale horse and I would spend most of my time in the morning brushing it. Then I would tack up my horse and take it for a trek up the zig zag walk. 

At the first corner of the Zig Zag walk there is a really pretty waterfall. On the way down I would stop and let the Clydesdale have a drink of the water. I would sit on a rock and listen to the water trickling past me. 

 I would make a packed lunch at home and put it in a backpack and carry it  all the way to the top of the zig zag, where I would have my lunch.

When we get back down to town I would jump off the Clydesdale and walk it down the street, to the shop. Then I would spend some money on some more food for me and a few carrots for the Clydesdale. 

When I get home I would untack the Clydesdale, brush it down, put it in its paddock and feed it a few treats.

Her name would be Sudden Star. Everyone would call her Star. I would call her Sudden Star because I saw her on Trade Me all of the sudden and she is pretty like a star. Heaps of people would comment on how pretty she is.
