Our Doubtful Sound trip.
We first went to the wharf where there was a big boat waiting for us.
The first boat trip was 1 hour and 4 minutes long.
We went on a bus over the hill, it was a gravel road. It was really windy and it was one of the steepest roads in New Zealand.
Finally we reached the lookout. We could see snow. We went down the other side of the hill.
When we got to the bottom, we could see another boat. It was white. We hopped on the boat.
First, we passed the Blanket Bay hotel for fishermen. We went all the way out 40 km to the Tasman sea. We saw 100 seals on a rock. It was choppy. There were some 2 metres high waves.
Then we went back to the bus.
It was cold on the bus going over the hill with the snow. I went down the hill with a muesli bar in my hand.
We went to the pub. I got a chicken burger with salad and fries.
I was really tired but I enjoyed it.
The best part was the sea because it was choppy.
