Bailey is in Australia

 Going to Australia Part 1 by Bailey

We are travelling around Australia at the moment. We just landed on Sunday. We drove from Nelson to Christchurch then we stayed the night in Christchurch at a motel and it was very exciting. I had lots of trouble getting to sleep because I was too excited to get on the plane. 

When we got to the airport it was lunchtime so we checked in our bags and I had a pie for lunch. When we got through to wait by our gate, the plane wasn’t there yet because it was delayed. So we got to play on the giant chessboard. It was really fun but my sister kept stealing all the pieces. 

I really enjoyed the plane except it was a bit bumpy sometimes going through the clouds and the landing was very very very bumpy. I didn’t like it at all because it was very scary. 

Once we got through customs we had to wait for dad to get the hire car and it took forever. We got a white car and it was really cool. 

We had a long drive up to my uncle's house. I don’t remember much of the drive up because it was night time and I slept. It was the middle of the night when we arrived at his house but I wasn’t  very tired. I couldn’t wait until it was daylight so I could see outside.
