Carson had to fly to Christchurch because of the flooding

 On Monday me and Alex had to get a plane from the airport in Nelson and Blenheim to get to Christchurch. We had to fly because the road from my dad's house to Nelson was closed. The road was closed because there were slips and the road had been washed away. Mum had to pick Alex up first because his flight was earlier than mine. 

Once we both had been picked up, we went back to the hotel where we were staying and we went and chilled out and watched some TV. We were staying at the top of a ten storied hotel. At night we could see heaps of lights coming from other buildings and cars around us. It was very colourful.
