This is the process for Willow's Nuno Felting

 We are setting up to try Nuno felting. This style of felting uses only merino wool and silk then you can add features like dog hair, patches of fine cloth and sparkly threads.

We have rolled towels to frame our felting as it catches all the water.

Here I am laying out all the wool and silk for my design over curtain netting. There was so much to choose from, but I chose the blue because there was a lot of it and it was such a pretty colour for my base.

We lay bubble wrap over the net curtain and rub soapy warm water for ages to make the wool flat and matted together.

You need to be careful pulling the netting away from your felting. This is Jayne's felting in the photo.
