Look at the interesting things Bailey has been doing

I made this card to post over to my aunty Megs in Australia . She is really sick in hospital so I hope it makes her feel better. I cut some colour paper with crazy scissors to make a cool edge and then stuck on a band-aid. I decorated it with paint pens and some shiny shapes.

I have been making some flowers out of felt. They are so much fun to make. 
 

We bought a box with a couple of geodes in it . We got to crack open 2 each . I was so excited when it was my turn to put mine on the cardboard,  you put it on there so it doesn’t roll away . Then you put a cloth on top so the rock cant hit you but you wear glasses on your eyes to be safe too. I was so excited to see what colour was in mine . I hit it so hard with a hammer and after a couple of try’s it broke . It is very shiny on the inside.  I love crystals so am going to love my geode forever . They are made from air in rocks. A long time ago water got in and then the water goes and the stuff left turns to crystal. I want to get some more when we go back so I can see if I get another colour.

I have been making some leaf art . We got a pen blower to try using for art . You put a colour felt in the end and then pump up the bottom and then you pull the trigger bit and the ink comes out all splatery  .  I used some leaves to make these ones . I stuck them down with tape and then used the pen blower and then carefully took off the leaves .

We also tried to make glowing jelly. I saw it on a kids science show ,  but our jelly didn’t work. Mum said we will look for a different recipe to try, so hopefully we can get it to work next time. We will try different jelly and maybe a different brand of water to see if that helps. It still tasted yummy .
