Ocean 's story for INTO201 Celebrate good times

 I couldn’t wait to go to Benny’s party. I felt like I couldn't eat or swallow my spit, I was so excited I just wanted to get to his party! And Finally, we arrived after lunch, all the kids were outside. I saw Benny’s Nanna. She looks really old. His Aunty and Uncle were there too. His older brother looks exactly like him.

 

Benny got lots and lots of presents because lots of friends went to his party. He got a Robo fish with a big tub from Sasha. I got to watch it swim around in the tub, it was so cool. I gave him a nerf ball and gun. He got 2 remote control cars and 1 remote control helicopter.

 

There were heaps and heaps and heaps of games and they were all such fun but they were a bit loud for me. The kids were dancing and singing. We played pass the parcel and Cooper got an RC car! We played race tracks outside in the backyard.

 I had to put on a blindfold to smash the pinata. I don’t think I whacked hard enough. I only got one turn which was disappointing. I wanted 5 that would have been funner. You had to be very quick to get the lollies off the ground. All I got was 3 lollies. People were grabbing them all over the place and I got pushed to the ground so I cried. Then I got more lollies. Benny’s Parents said they would even out the lollies and so we all got the same.

 

After we played all the games I went inside and saw lots of food on a table. I ate lots of chocolate biscuits, juice, ginger cake, hot cross buns. After that, I felt very very fat and full.

When we all settled down, all of us sang Happy Birthday to Benny after the games were played and the balloons were all popped. The cake was in the shape of a 6 and had m and m’s all over it. It was a chocolate cake. It was sooooo yum.

 

We all stripped off after the food and dove into the pool and did cannonballs and we splashed everyone! “Who wants their party bags,” said Benny’s Mum.

 

“I do,” I said. I felt very happy I didn't even know there were going to be any party bags.

 

Mum and Skye took me back home, and I showed Skye all the stuff I got from the party. Skye said, “I want to hold it Ocean.”

 

 I said “No Skye you can’t I want to hold it” And then I gave her a piece of chocolate. I felt tired and wanted to go to sleep. That night I had a nice snuggly cosey sleep in my bed.
