Last weekend we were looked after by Nana and Pop while Marty and Mum were on their honeymoon in Queenstown. We stayed at Nana and Pop’s house. We played outside.
Later on we started to get firewood. We went to the beach to get firewood. We found a tree knocked over on the beach. So we cut it up with a chainsaw.
The next day we cut it with the wood splitter.
On Saturday morning, I had to make a decision on what roller skates to buy, before we went to our farm. I chose a pair off a place called Hyper Ride. They only had one colour in the size that fitted me. So it wasn’t hard choosing the colour.
I hope they turn up on Wednesday, but Hyper Ride haven’t sent an email saying that they have been sent. Now I think that they will be here next week. Probably when I am away.
They are pink with yellow laces and yellow on the inside. The wheels are very cool. They are pink with a yellow stripe going around the wheel. The brand is written in turquoise on the yellow stripe.
Yesterday we went whitebaiting but we only got 43 and we were there for 2 hours.
We brought them home and ate them. We made a whitebait patty and it was delicious. Me and Bodhi had half each.
Yesterday we went to the beach and we made a fire. It rained and it put the fire out so we had to go home and have a big warm shower.
When we hopped out of the shower, we got all dry and we played some mancala.
Lucy entered a photo competition at the art gallery in Greymouth. She received a prize for highly commended, plus a spot prize. She went to prize giving in Greymouth on Saturday night.
