We went sea kayaking in Kaikoura. It was a day full of surprises! We saw many Dusky Dolphins around the Kayaks, we saw seals and we even saw a playing humpback whale on only 100 meter distance. He was jumping and splashing and playing. It was so cool! One of the best days of my life!

Spencer and Harper have been painting using the techniques we learnt at the Art Gallery.

 

Sarah has made a lantern for St Martins Day

 

Sarah made a lantern. We have Saint Martins day in Germany where all the kids make lanterns and walk behind Saint Martin on his horse through the town at dusk with their lanterns and sing songs. At the end there is a big bonfire and then the kids take their lanterns and sing their songs at the doors where they are given treats.
